Design
Due to the nature of designs and our creative process, we DO NOT replicate other artists work exactly. It can however, be used as an inspiration to create the design you are after. No two cakes can be exactly the same, even our own designs.
Cake Flowers
If you would like your flowers to match exactly to your event, please ask your florist to provide additional flowers for the cake maker. Please ensure the florist has been briefed on your cake design and size to ensure there is a sufficient amount for the cake.
Custom Order Confirmation & Payment
A 30-40% Non-Refundable deposit of the total amount is required to secure any custom booking of the selected date. Bookings are not confirmed until a deposit has been received. The remaining balance of your order must be paid 3 days prior to pick up or delivery date, unless otherwise agreed upon. Clients are also welcome to pay upfront in full at the time of booking. Other payment options can be discussed and agreed upon at time of booking. Payment of your deposit is considered that you are in agreement of all the Terms & Conditions.
Rush Order
A rush order surcharge of 15% will be added to your invoice for any orders that are placed within 2-3 business days of the pickup or delivery date. Orders will be accepted subject to availability and design
Order Cancellation
Any cancellation will result in forfeiting your non-refundable deposit. All cancellations or changes must be in writing. If you are to cancel a pre-designed cake order from our website, we will refund the order, minus a $25 processing fee, only if 7 days-notice is given and no products have been made yet. If you cancel your custom order within the period of full payment due (3 days-notice) the 60-70% will be refunded if your custom order has not yet been completed, or can be resold (subject to any already purchased items e.g. Custom Cake Toppers).
Order Refunds
We uphold a very high standard here at Kaikai Cakery and always want you to be 100% happy with your order. However, refunds that are requested due to dissatisfaction of design; colour shade or freedom decorating, will not be honoured. It is your responsibility to ensure your design wishes are clear by providing every bit of detail and allowing us to guide you with your design. We trust that you have chosen Kaikai Cakery for your love of our work and style, entrusting our professional opinion and experience along with our reputation. If you are unsatisfied with the flavour quality of your cake and request a refund, this will be assessed at the discretion of the batch. In these circumstances, the cake must be returned back to our premises within 5 days post collection. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue a refund for an order item that has been consumed. *** Any damage occurring due to your transportation or mishandling after the cake leaves our premises, we may be able to help fix, but this is entirely up to availability and will need to be brought back to us. So please ensure you have read our care cards, and handle with care.
